Classic Corporate

I work 2 jobs and today was that day that I have to work both. It was supposed to be a very long day (I normally wake at 6.30am) however I was sent home early from my second job. My day finishes at 8pm, I get home at 8.30pm and put my son to sleep at 9pm.  It was nice to come home, clean up and pick my son up from nursery earlier than usual. Being a working, single mother is not always easy but it is very rewarding (mostly in the best hugs and kisses you can ever imagine). Since I started work my son's sleep pattern has been a little messy but I am hoping to get back into a good routine soon.

I actually remembered to have pictures taken of my work outfit today. I bought my dress and blazer from new look (in the sale section of course. Click here to be directed to the new look website.
What I love most about this autumn is that it's not too cold so I don't have to wear a big coat. I just wear a cardigan under my blazer and that keeps me warm enough.

All things shoes

Ever loved a pair so much you had to buy a second pair?
As I said in an earlier blog I am trying to change my style. Brogues over trainers. I am starting work tomorrow and I am required to dress formally everyday (5 days a week).
So I will be blogging my work outfits quite often.
Anyway I got these pairs from Matalan (click here to be directed to their website) for £25! They are £15 each but if you are interested in buying them comment below and I can help find you a voucher code to get you a discount!!!.

I am no longer a student and as a result I don't get student discount. So I am always looking for sales and discounts.

Men's Casual

My little brother was clearly feeling himself today so I decided to feature him on my blog. I love his joggers, they look so comfy. There is something I love about mens clothes...

These joggers are still being sold in      topman and topshop have the women's version which I really want to purchase (when they go on sale! I love a bargain)

Driving - comfort and safety first!

I have been taking my driving lessons from August 2014. I just decided I cannot be living this peasant lifestyle...public transport is not appealing.
For one buses to me = alot of people + alot of germs. I don't think it use to bother me much before Noah but now it seriously does.
why should my son be breathing in other people's germs?
people are on there coughing, sneezing and all. Nevermind the amount of people I have seen use public toilets and not wash their hands, they are most likely the same people you are sat with on public transport.
Anyway besides being midly obssessed about the amount of germs being spread, I find that when I have worn comfortable driving shoes my driving has been alot better.
My favourites for driving are moccassins/loafers. I first had a pair from asos which were great to begin with but didn't last long before the threading was coming undone.
Then I bought a pair from barratts which were ok but not great.
I recently bought a pair of loafers from office  (click 'office to be directed to the website). These loafers have been everything I ever needed. I am not sure if they are still in the sale as I bought them at £36! and I got free delivery too which is always a bonus for me
I would definitely recommend them. They are both comfortable and stylish.

I think loafers/mocassins are the best shoes to wear when driving, they have been the best for me. If anyone else thinks they have found comfortable shoes for driving DM me because I am all about comfort. I don't like to drive so anything to make the experience more enjoyable.

They are the Kent Driver - White Lizard Leather.

Sunday Best

I absolutely love getting dressed up for church. When I was younger I remember church days mostly likely meant I would be wearing a dress, white frilly socks and little black shoes. It was one of those days I got to dress up and feel like a princess, no school uniform! On saturdays I wore jeans because I had to play football with the boys (yes I was that kid). Having a brother and no sisters left little to no girly time. I spent alot of time playing football or playfighting (wrestling style!).
Coming back to 2014! I must say I have some bad days when I just don't dress up. Those days most likely mean I have been up half the night with my son and getting out my sunday best is not convinient on that day.
I am in the process of changing my wardrobe and style. I am tired and bored of my regular jeans and vans, converse etc. I want to dress up!!
Today I wore: Asos cream white shirt, Topshop Jeans, H & M boots and a blazer (I don't remember where I bought the blazer) & added my favourite River Island bag. The bag does fit a lot of my son's things in as well as my own things so I carry it with me everywhere!
